"Lights! Camera! Action!!!" Kimmy shouted out.

The curtain rise and it was show time. The musical began and the cast started singing and dancing. Everyone was screaming and shouting the names of the cast members while we were dancing and singing. Of course everyone's favorite scene was the love scene where two characters kiss and fall in love. How come my love has not come? My name's Aurora Choi currently 16 years old standing about 4ft 10inches tall. I know I'm short, but what can I do about it when both of my parents are short. Because am short lots of short guys ask me out, which makes me uncomfortable. I love tall guys therefore I go to the basketball game a lot just to stare at tall guys. I wish a tall, handsome, charming, hot, strong guy would ask me out someday. It's my ultimate dream that I should give up soon. I know love isn't all about looks, but I can't help it, but drool at good looking tall guys who are nice to me. They are nice to me, but they already have girlfriends who are couple inches more taller than me. Arggg! I wish I were just a little bit taller. As soon as the show was over, I ran to my house and turned on my PSP. Yup! Time to drool over my dream boyfriend. Who is that you ask? Zack from Final Fantasy 7!!! But here is a big BUT that drives me crazy. He already has a girlfriend and she's taller and prettier and and she can perform miracles. So here is what I said to myself, "Give up Aurora-chi, even if Zack is real, he isn't gonna even talk to you." Yup! I talk to myself whenever I'm alone, but whenever I'm out of the house I'm surrounded by crowds of fans. I guess I should at least be happy that I'm popular, but do they know the "real" me behind the home door? I don't think they do. I decided to go to Miles's room because I felt lonely so I packed my PSP in my bag and walked out.

"Aurora-sama!!!!" The crowd shouted as I passed by.
"Hi everyone," I smiled and waved at the crowd. "Good day isn't it?"
"KYAAAAA!!!" I heard them screaming.

I walked over to the guys' dormitory and walked up to the familiar door. I opened and saw Miles playing his PSP as usual. He already defeated the game several times; he was THAT good at games. I recognized the voice coming out of the PSP; it was Zack!!! I walked up closer and sat besides him. He was ahead of me in the game because I saw Zack having the Buster Sword. Miles laughed when he was doing the chapter with the vacation. I was busy drooling over Zack because he was... well... not wearing his shirt. FANSERVICE!!! Woohoo!!!!! Here I go with the hyperness. I was close to that chapter myself; in fact couple more hours and I'll be in that chapter in no time. Miles saved his game and turned off his PSP and looked at me. He was my best guyfriend who was one of them good looking tall guys, but he already had a girlfriend who was my best friend. Kimmy opened the door and walked in with bags of snack. Kimmy did not mind me hanging around with Miles since I introduced him to her in the first place. I was a matchmaker to them in a sense. Kimmy wanted to repay me by getting me a good boyfriend, but I was too picky that she gave up long time ago. I took out my PSP and sighed.

"Having a hard time?" Miles asked.
"No," I said looking away. "Why do I have to fight Angeal?"
"That's how the story plot goes," Miles said.
"But... then..." my voice shivered. "That means... Zack is going to be sad right?"
"It's his fate," Miles said. "Besides it's just a video game."
"True," Kimmy said. "Sometimes I wonder what the people would do if they figure out your real self. You should be you outside even if you'll lose popularity."
"I'm trying to," I said. "But I'm scared."
"Of what?" Kimmy asked.
"That people would not like my real self," I said looking away.
"Just be yourself girl," Kimmy smiled. "Who knows... people might like you more after learning that you are video game loving freak. And obsessed with your Zacky boy..."
"But he likes Aerith.." I said. "Besides... they are just video game characters."
"What if they aren't?" Miles said. "What if the world fuses together tomorrow and you see him on the street."
"Still he might be on his way to see her in the Church," I said.
"What if he happens to spot you singing and your voice pulls him closer," Kimmy said with her twinkling eyes.
"I hope something like that happens," I said looking at the ceiling. "I wish..."

I sat in front of my piano and started to sing "Orange no Hatsukoi" by Younha while playing the piano part. While I was playing I felt like I was on a stage playing for many people. I felt my fingers moving naturally as my voice sounding like a real singer. I felt my heart filled with happiness while I was playing. I saw outside and saw neighbors coming out and grooving to the song. I love this about music. It made people feel better and made them happy. I then thought about what Kimmy and Miles told me about that whole "what if tomorrow" thing. Tomorrow was the rehearsal on the stage in the middle of the town in front of the water fountain. I was nervous about it you know. Many towns people will stop by the water fountain and listen to the rehearsal. I got up and ran upstairs to my room. There was a huge poster of Zack that Kimmy gave me couple of weeks ago hung next to my bedside. I popped in Younha's Japanese CD and switched to track 3 which was "Orange no Hatsukoi". That meant Orange colored Love or something like that. It was almost summer therefore, Orange was the first color that came into my mind. Normally people would think blue because of the ocean, but summer reminds me of Orange. On my two feet, I started to dance to the tune while singing the song. Because I play piano and sing at the same time, I don't get to dance during the performance. After the song was finished, my eyes were fixed on the poster. I looked away turning off the CD player. I am way way too hyper for him; I thought to myself as I walked towards my bed and laying down. I was thinking down about myself again. I climbed under my blanket and looked at the poster again. My eyes became dreamy and slowly closed down and I drifted away to a dream world.

Next day rose and I saw the sun shining again. It was the day and it got me all hyped up. I jumped out of my bed and prayed to God for success in rehearsal. I turned on the same music as I changed my clothes to long white shirt and orange skirt. I brushed my hair nicely and tied a pony tail on each side of my hair. Spinning around in front of the mirror, I checked to see if I looked good. I raised the curtain of my windows to see the view outside. But when I looked outside, it looked different and I saw a familiar building in front of the fountain. I wonder why a Shinra Company building would be doing in our world. I rubbed my eyes several eyes to see if I were dreaming or not, but I was not dreaming. I saw the stage being set up on the opposite side of the building. I wonder if our rehearsal would bother people in there. But I know that Kimmy, the stage director, will tell me not to worry about others. I got on my roller blade and went to the fountain area. Everyone was there getting set up. I was the last one to arrive, but they didn't mind since they know that I don't need to prepare anything. I saw some Soldiers coming out from the building to observe our rehearsal. I saw towns people gathering as well. As soon as the electronic piano was set up, I got up on the stage and began to practice the parts. Then I heard Kimmy whispering into my ears.

"Hey Aurora... look over there.... teehee..." Kimmy whispered into my ears.

I turned my head and saw Zack talking with other Soldiers. It seems like he was having a good conversation because he was laughing. Then like miracle, he turned and looked at me. My body completely frozen as his blue eyes were looking straight at me. The band members were giggling at me because I was completely frozen like a statue. I shook my head try not to be seduced easily. When I looked at Zack, he was giggling. Is he giggling because I blushed when he looked at me? I hope not... wahhh I feel embarrassed!!! Kimmy signalled the guitars to tune while I was playing notes to tune the guitar. Zack walked closer to the stage while I was helping the guitars tuning. When I looked up, he was right there; in front of me, but below the stage. Yeeyahh!!! Why is he staring at me in such a lovely way??? Those eyes... why are they making me blush so much??? Could it be that Mako energy is pulling me closer? Nah, I don't think so, but somewhat it was like I was hit by a love potion.

"Alright guys!" Kimmy said. "Let's practice. Aurora, you can move from piano to the central mic easily right?"
"Yeah!" I said smiling. "I move to the mic during pieces without piano right?"
"Bingo," Kimmy said. "Guys ready?"
"Bring it on!" Miles said tapping the drum. "Go Aurora woohoo!!!!"
"Stop it," I said blushing. "Alright! Let's start with Orange no Hatsukoi."

I began to sing with the voice I used last night while practicing; the voice that made the neighbors joyful and happy. When we started to play the chorus, I saw some people started to dance while some people tapped their feet. My eyes went from my keyboard to Kimmy to the audience. It felt like a real concert except there were few people in the audience. My voice felt like it has magical powers because I saw more people gathering around towards the end of the song. My mood was effecting me so much that I was playing livelier than before. The members were surprised how energetic I was. It was probably the best performance I've ever had to them since I was always shy and don't have self confidence. We moved on to HeaSung (Korean version of "Houko Boshi") and it was Canon in D, which was my solo. The last song was Crush on you by Tata Young. That's the song that I can dance while holding a microphone in my hand. I saw couples gathering together when the last song started. I saw the fountain atmosphere changing color to pink. It was filled with love and I was envious of it. The audience applaud when we were done with rehearsal. We ran through the whole thing just now and after break, we were to move back to band room to fix our mistakes. I know I made a lot of mistake and the band members knew why I was lively, but had 0 focus. While we were taking break, I heard a footstep coming closer to me. Kimmy wanted to talk to me, but after seeing a figure walking towards me, she paused and smiled. I was covered by a tall shadow and that made me turn around. My eyes widen when I saw the figure standing behind me.

"Nice singing," It was Zack who was standing behind me.
"Tha...thank... you," I blushed.
"Seems like you have been practicing a lot," his words were encouraging me. "I liked the songs very much. I was busy tapping my foot."
"Really?" I said looking up at him with my eyes twinkling. "You should come to the real concert. It's next week. If you want, I can reserve a good seat for you."
"Hahaha... I'll try to make it if I have time," he smiled looking down at my shortness. "I'm Zack, you are..."
"Aurora," I said putting my hand in front of me. "Nice to meet you, Zack."
"Nice to meet you too," he grabbed my hand and shook it.
"You are Soldier correct?" I asked looking at his uniform.
"Yeah," he said looking at the building. "I don't have much assignment or mission so I just train and hang out most of the time."
"Have you consider going to school?" I asked.
"Nahhh," he said putting both of his arms behind his neck. "I like fighting and training."
"School can be fun, but pain when it comes to exam and study," I giggled. "My friends and I tend to slack off sometimes. You should have fun too you know... us youngsters should enjoy life, neh?"
"I guess you are right," he chuckled a bit. "I guess we can hang out together sometime."
"I'm sure my friends would not mind," I said looking at the band members. "The guys are funny too."
"Haha I see," he heard his cellphone ringing. "Zack here... Briefing room? I'll be right there."
"I guess you have to go, neh?" I asked.
"Yeah," Zack put his cellphone back into his pocket. "See you later."
"Here," I said giving him a piece of paper. "My cell number just incase you wanna call."
"Thanks! Good luck practicing," he waved at me while running backwards then he spun and started to run forward to the fountain.
"Hahhh... am I dreaming or what," I said to myself as I turned around and saw band members with their teasing face. "Gakkk busted..."
"So Aurora got yourself a lover boy huh???" Aaron, the bass guitarist said poking my forehead.
"Maybe," I said blushing. "How... was I.. was I brave?"
"You were straight forward," the guys said. "Now all you need is asking him out on a date."
"Date?" I said looking puzzled. "I think hanging out comes first then date."
"True," Miles said. "Shall we go do some DDR so you can be brainwashed from your lover boy???"
"I'll take you on!" I said running towards the arcade.
