So the battle was on between me and Valerie. Valerie explained our life changing battle to the professor during dance class. The professor was surprised with our challenging especially at the punishment. The professor felt bad for me since my punishment was harsh. I did not like fighting and if I join the Soldier, I have to fight no matter what and I was bad with swords and the list will go on and on. The professor decided to give us a separate material for the finals. Our task was to to form a group of dancers and lipsink to 3 songs. It was challenging indeed since I need to gather people and choose the songs. Also we needed a place large enough to practice since Valerie would use the school dance room most likely. The dance class was dismissed early so we can go practice or study for other finals. We walked out to the PE class and saw the girls all sitting at the bench as they watched guys playing basket ball. Zack carried me to the bench where Kimmy and others were sitting down. Once again, Zack was grabbing a lot of attention from everyone especially the PE teacher. The teacher shouted out to Zack see if he wanted to join the game. I explained how the game works to Zack in a quick simple way. Since he liked physical activities he decided to join and work out a bit. Then I told Kimmy and others about the dance final assignment.

"Lipsinking eh?" Tina said. "It's your specialty. Probably the professor felt bad for you since your punishment is just dead serious. I mean I can't imagine you surviving under Shinra."
"I can't imagine my uncle agreeing to this," Kimmy said.
"Well the four of us can do it," Jamie smiled.
"What about me?" Saori said joining our chat.
"We have five members!" I said. "But where to practice and the songs."
"I can bag my uncle to have the training room empty for a week," Kimmy said. "The researchers are busy with other things so I think the training room should be available from certain time during the week."
"The songs," I said. "What do you guys want to do?"
"Upside down by A*Teens," Kimmy giggled. "Suits your situation Aurora doesn't it? Your grade have been going down since you met Zacky boy and you go crazy whenever he is on a long assignment."
"Wow it does suit you," Jamie said messing my hair up. "Lover girl..."
"Just look at Zack," Tina giggled. "Towering over everyone. Is he really 16?"
"Yeah," I said smiling looking at the court. "Even if he doesn't look like one, he acts like one."
"Awwwwww," Saori awwed. "It's your first time being in love right, Aurora?"
"I guess," I said blushing. "Anyhow let's get back to business."

After PE class was over, Zack walked towards me all covered in sweats. This guy, he really loves moving around doing things. He asked me if he could use the shower in the boy's locker room. Why is he asking me when he can just go take a quick shower? I nodded and took Kimmy's hand as she volunteered to guide me to the girl's locker room. In the boy's locker room, the guys were looking at Zack as he was taking off his uniform. They were envious of him somehow for having a taller bigger body. But let me tell you this, I personally don't like tall guys since well I'm short and they seem to scare me easily. The guys stared at Zack while he was taking shower. Zack was well built I guess since he was sent out to fight couple of times and been training to become a Soldier. After he was done, he wore his uniform and walked out feeling weird getting attention everywhere he went. He saw Kimmy and I standing by the girl's locker room door. It was lunch time and I was overwhelmed by my fans asking about my condition. They apparently heard a rumor about me being dumped into the chamber filled with Mako. They were all shocked at my eye color, but when they saw me smiling and telling them that I'm alright, they all calmed down. Some of them were curious of how far into relationship me and Zack got into. Well the lunch time was really busy with the fans going crazy. While I was busy, Kimmy and others gathered music to dance to. I just hoped my eyes could change faster so I can dance along with them.

After school was over, Zack took me back to his room instead of my house. Why? He has to keep on eye on me otherwise his assignment is a failure. As soon as we were back, Zack took me to the training room where everyone were. I saw blurry image of them dancing to the music. Some of the musics made me going and I wanted to dance to it badly. But I had to wait patiently for this eye to change color. I was satisfied with the music they have chosen. I was worried a bit since I would look weird in blue eyes. I mean I'm an Asian girl and blue eyes don't go along with Asian girls. After the practice was over, Zack took me to the experimental floor to check up on my eyes. Instead of discussing about my eyes, I heard rather strange things from the Professor and this also made Zack interested.

"We figured out great information about the cell implanted on your body," The professor said looking at me. "It belongs to the Ancients who used elemental powers."
"Elemental powers," I said wondering. "I wonder what element..."
"We have no idea, but you can figure it out on your own," the researcher told me.
"But I don't know how to use my powers," I said giggling.
"That's why why you will be training with Angeal," the researcher said.
"Wha? Training?!" I said looking down.
"Good luck on your training," Zack nudged me in a friendly way.
"I guess," I looked away.

Sometimes I want to believe that I'm dreaming because of this whole thing. What whole thing? Me being an Angel and everything. I was brought back to Zack's room after the report of the professor was done. I was in denial state not wanting to believe the report. I was just normal human as for my eye color? I might be seeing illusion. When Zack was trying to put me down on his bed I told him to put me on his couch since I was small enough to lay down on it. He gently smiled at me and told me that a patient needs to rest on the bed. Silly Zack, being nice to me like this doesn't mean our relationship will last forever. You should know that you will meet a girl in the church when you fall down from the Shinra building and you will be in love with her for real. Now why am I talking about that all of a sudden? I had no idea, but I know it isn't going to last forever. As soon as I lay me down on his bed, I covered myself in blanket and stayed quiet. Then Zack asked what I would do if I lose the dance final match. I smiled and told him that I will join Soldier and train to be a fighter. Zack sighed since that wasn't the answer he was looking for.

"I thought you would say something like why would I lose in the first place anyway, type of answer," Zack said.
"Oh," I giggled. "Valerie is a cheater. Most likely she will win somehow."
"And you are going to let yourself lose?" he said tightening his fist. "I know you are an Angel, but I don't want you to join Soldier."
"Why?" I smiled. "We can go to assignments together and you can become my real mentor.
"But still," he looked down at himself. "You like school better than here right?"
"I don't mind," I said when I felt pain in my eyes. "Owwww"
"Your eye colors are completely changing," Zack said looking at my eyes closely.
"Really?" I said closing my eyes.
"Yeah," he said putting his eyes in front of mine.
"Okay the pain is gone," I said opening my eyes and seeing his eyes right in front of me. "Ummmm.... Zack?"
"Yeah?" he said staring at my eyes.
"Your eyes," I blushed. "Are like the sky. It calms me down whenever I look at it."
"Your eyes are like crystals," Zack said making me blush even more.
"Stop it Zack," I said pushing him and laughing.
"Now can you see things better?" He said sitting back down on the chair.
"Yeah," I said looking at him.

That very night, Angeal took me to the training room to test my strength. Zack also followed me to assist me if I get myself in trouble. He asked me to put virtualizing device on my eyes. When I opened my eyes, I saw a desert like area with Angeal and Zack standing behind me. My powers are at the unstable state, so I wasn't able to do anything at the moment. I saw a giant lion like creature appearing in front of me. I grabbed the sword near by and walked up closer to the creature. I was scared, but I knew that my powers will guide me somehow. But I had no idea how to use my powers since I never used it before. Zack was worried since I had no idea what to do. As the creature was attacking me, I simply dodged using steps that imitated dance steps I knew. Even though it was virtual, I did not want to hurt the creature so I kept on dodging its attacks. But the dodging ended when the giant creature shook the ground with its massive paws. I tripped and fell on the ground. The moment I turned around, its sharp claws were above my head. I closed my eyes being scared, but soon a shadow appeared in front of me. When I opened my eyes, I saw Zack blocking the claws with his sword. I sighed as I was just a normal human even I was Mako fused. I watched Zack as he was fighting the giant beast. Angeal walked up to me and helped me get up from the ground. I looked away since I was just ordinary. Probably the researchers are lying about me being some special being. I wanted to be ordinary because then I can blend in with the society easily. I took off the virtualizing device. I saw Zack putting his sword on his back. I always liked staring at guys' back and it sometimes made me want to hug them or glomp them badly. He walked up to me to make sure that I wasn't hurt or anything. Then it was dinner time and the three of us met up with the director.

"Nothing huh?" Lazard looked at me being little depressed. "I'm sure someday you'll gain control of the hidden powers, Aurora-san."
"I still want to deny that I have special powers," I said smiling. "I just want to be normal high school girl."
"But those eyes aren't the eyes of normal people," the director said looking at my eyes shining in bright blue color. "It is definitely a Mako filled eyes."
"I can't wait to see what kind of powers you have," Zack said being curious.
"I wonder what elemental power I have," I said looking down at the untouched plate.
"You should eat, Aurora-san," the director said looking at me. "I know it can be challenging to figure out the power inside of you, but the hardwork will pay off."
"I hope so," I said being down on myself. "I wonder if I can ever do it."
"I'm sure you can do it," Zack smiled as he grabbed my spoon and got a scoop of rice. "Here I'll feed you if you resist eating."
"I can't eat by myself," I said getting the spoon from him.
"Alright," Zack smiled as I began to eat. "For now you should concentrate on your studies. You don't want to lose to that girl right?"
"Oh yes," the director said after wiping his mouth. "Zack, I have real assignment for you. I'm thinking about sending Aurora as well, but depends on her."
"Real assignment?" Zack went into his hyper puppy mode.
"This assignment is very important," the director said. "It is to stop the war with Wutai. Angeal will be going with you as well. Are you interested, Aurora-san?"
"Well," I looked away. "I can't fight or anything."
"You won't be fighting," the director said. "You'll be dressed up as a waitress and distract the Wutai soldiers inside the building while Angeal set up a bomb inside the fortress."
"I was never trained in that sort of thing," I sighed. "Is this Kimmy's idea again?"
"Bingo!" Kimmy walked closer to the table plucking out the ear piece.
"Kimmy," I sighed. "You know I have to prepare for finals and all. Why don't you go?"
"But Aurora," Kimmy said with her twinkling eyes. "You are cute so I'm sure you'll be better suited for this job. I'm sure someone wants to see you dressed up as a Chinese waitress."
"Uhhhh," Zack blushed and started coughing.
"See?" Kimmy said patting me. "I'm actually doing a huge favor for your fans too. I'm making a lot of money off of your pictures."
"When are you going to stop that?" I sighed looking at Kimmy as hyper as ever.
"The assignment will be tomorrow night so get plenty of rest before then. I'll explain the details tomorrow night in the briefing room," the director said. "Kimmy, can I talk to you for a second."
"Of course, uncle," Kimmy said following her uncle. "Nighty Aurora-chan."

I could walk by myself, but Zack carried me to his room and laid me back to his bed. Even though I could see things clearly, I have not got a permission to get out of the bed. After putting his sword against the wall, Zack lay down on the couch and yawned several times. I took out a notebook and started to write down notes while listening to the audio lecture I recorded today. After I was done with half of the notes, I looked at Zack. He was asleep with his arms crossed. I smiled and put blanket on him so he won't get cold. Our body temperature dropped when we sleep so I was concerned with it. The clock ticked fast when I was busy organizing my notes and when I looked it was 1:30 AM. While I was busy writing, I felt blanket being dropped on my legs. When I looked up I saw Zack looking down at me. He told me that a patient like myself should get enough rest. I think it was opposite since Zack carried me around all day long today and I'm not the lightest girl in the world. Well I know Zack's strong, but I think it would be tiring for him to carry me everywhere I go for the whole entire day. He reached for my books and closed it and pushed me gently. I guess he want me to go to sleep since I'm still recovering. I smiled as I closed my eyes to go to sleep. I'm sure tomorrow's going to be a better day with the new challenge that will determine my life.
