"Basically..." I said. "We need another guitar player..."
"Yeah," Saori said. "I can't play two parts..."
"Maybe I chose the wrong song," I said looking down.
"No you didn't," Howard, the new drummer walked in the practice room. "Guitar is my main instrument actually. Miles can play the drums and I'll play the guitar part."
"Howard!" Everyone was happy to see him. "Long time no see."
"Yeah," he said.
"So shall we try?" Miles said grabbing his drumstick in the corner of the room.
"Yeah!" I said grabbing the microphone.
"Okay! Let's have sound check first," Kimmy said checking the equipments.

When we started with our rehearsal, Zack entered his emotiona break down Angeal's death. In his room, he was doing nothing, but crying while hugging my copy tightly. I felt sorry for my copy since she was nothing, but a white winged bunny. He had an "X" mark on lower part of his left cheek. The bunny started crying as well seeing Zack crying. His eyes went to the Buster Sword leaning against the wall. He was wishing that he could go back in time and stopped Angeal from turning himself into a monster. But it was too late to regret since he cannot turn back time or anything. The bunny then used the triangle again to show the mirror image of what I'm doing. The bunny was able to do more magic than I could and isn't that weird? It used its magic to have the words of the song translated to Zack so he could understand the meaning of the song. But when the image appeared on the mirror, I was explaining why this song cheered me up when I am down.

"The lyrics..." I said. "It tells that no matter how many time it passes, I would not forget the music that's deep inside my heart. No matter how sad I am, I will cheer myself up with music. Even at the hopeless days, there is always light that shines. Bright future... don't we all dream of it?"
"Au...ro...ra..." Zack said looking at me in the mirror.
"Wow... how touching," Kimmy said. "Well what are you waiting for? Let the song be heard so it will cheer all of us up!"
"YEAH!" I said standing up. "Ready?"

The song started and Zack wiped his tears and watched. I was tapping my feet during the intro section. He felt as if I was smiling at him to cheer him up. He tried smiling, but it was hard doing so. The song began and he began to hear the lyrics in English in his ears. He patted my copy while watching me sing as if I were performing for real.

When I was done singing, I felt sweats coming down my cheek. I still had the slash mark on my cheek that Chris gave me. Zack looked at my cheek closely and saw a cut marking across my cheek. He was surprised how he did not realized it till now. I was keep on smiling. He wished to see me again even though it only has been couple of days since we got seperated. It was same for me as well. Chris knew there was one way for us to meet, but that required both of us to meet at the dimension gap. The dimension gap was where beings from two worlds can exist at the same time, but it had time limit to how long people can stay there. Chris appeared next to Zack and asked if he wanted to see me for a bit. Zack began to think for a bit. Then Chris told Zack something that changed his mood completely.

"Refusion process?" Zack asked.
"I figured out a way to fuse the world back together without disturbing the world flow, but," Chris paused.
"But?" Zack asked.
"The memories of two of you would be used as sacrifice," Chris sighed.
"Which means..." Zack paused.
"The two of you won't remember one another, but could meet," Chris said.
"Argggg..." Zack tightened his fist.
"I said memories, not your heart," Chris said fixing his reading glasses.
"Huh?" Zack looked up.
"Your feelings for her will stay the same," Chris smiled. "Still mad about that? You will be with her and her feelings will stay the same as well."
"But how are we going to meet together?" Zack sighed. "The world is a big place."
"That's a secret," Chris chuckled at himself. "I'll just say that you guys DO meet."
"I can't wait to see her again," Zack smiled. "So when is the fusing going to start?"
"As soon as Aurora is done with her finals," Chris said. "Mind waiting for couple more monthes?"
"That means I'll be..." Zack looked at the Calender. "18 years old..."
"If I were to meet Zack again...I wish his appearance stays the same, but two years older," my voice echoed inside his head.
"Isn't that what maiden said?" Chris asked Zack.
"You planned all this huh?" Zack smiled. "What are you to Aurora doing stuffs for her anyway?"
"Like I said. I'm just respecting the Angel is all," he said. "I can't believe she still won't love me after all this."
"You... love her?" Zack asked being surprised.
"I used to," Chris stretched his arms out. "But I give up. She is completely into you. And I cannot manipulate her heart to love me. Her heart is strong enough to reject all my manipulating magics."
"That's Aurora," Zack said. "She is... strong inside..."
"I'll punish you to death if you make her cry," Chris smirked.

--- Dun Dun Dun... Final Time ---

Finals week finally began with the dance final. It was funny how Valerie appeared with a broken leg. Her teammates told me that she over done it during practice. So that meant our automatic victory. I stuck my tongue out at Valerie who was irritated with her broken leg. The teacher still asked us to perform. We didn't do much practice since we were busy with the band stuff, but we tried our best. The teacher was impressed when there was my solo dancing parts in the middle of songs. She could not believe how much I improved during the semester. My teammates teased me that it was all thanks to my "boyfriend" who kept on encouraging me. I blushed thinking about Zack. His smile that he always gave me... I wonder when I'll get to see the real smile of his again. KYA~~~ I cannot stop thinking about him!!!! Next, Math final. I kept on clicking my mechanic pencil while taking the exam since it was a hard exam. Why is math so complicated and hard??? I still tried my best even though I know that I'm getting a C in this class. Next subject was even worse, science. I can't wait till college where I get to choose what subjects to take and not to take. During lunch time everyone was going crazy since they had complaints about the test. We always complained about finals and that's how we were.

"Math final so unfair," Kimmy said. "The teacher didn't told us about that triangular thing..."
"You mean Trigonometry," I said sighing.
"Dude, Trig is easy!" Miles said being confident.
"We didn't ask the genius for his opinion," the girls looked at him.
"I'm sorry," Miles said digging into his food.
"But the science exam was surprising," I said. "Talking about blood streams out of no where... did any of you got the question right?"
"Nope," Miles said. "It was extra credit so I didn't bother looking at it."
"How amazing," I giggled. "So geniuses don't worry about extra credit neh?"
"Something like that," he said taking out his PSP.
"Going to play that?" I asked.
"Yeah," Miles said showing me the screen. "This is the older mature Zack with the new hair and all... What do you think?"
"Ano.... ummmm.... scary," I said biting my fork.
"EHHHHHHHHHHHHH?!" Everyone shouted looking at me. "How is he scary?"
"I was just kidding," I said blushed in red. "He's hot no matter what, but I kinda like his old hairstyle better though."
"Heh," Saori said. "Aurora has weird taste."
"I know I do," I sighed. "That's why I...."

Saori and Kimmy covered my mouth at the same time when I was about to say "I am never loved." They know what I want to say that's why they covered my mouth. They hated when I said negative things about myself. I'm not talking negative in fact I was telling them the truth about myself. Guys would call me weird and point fingers at me. I smiled when they took their hands off my mouth. I was glad that I had friends like them who wanted my "bad" side to go away. Self confidence was what I needed the most at the moment. I know that I cannot rely on people to encourage me all the time when I'm feeling down. Miles tapped on my shoulder and showed me his PSP screen. He had cut scenes of Crisis Core in his psp memory card and he paused when Zack was smiling. I blushed seeing him smiling and remembered that last time he smiled at me like that. I smiled back at the picture like he were in front of me. The others giggled since I was so into it. I came home and saw the poster on the wall. He was 16 years old in the poster, but like I said he looked like 18 rather than 16. I wondered if Zack was faking his age just to make him seem young, but by the way he acts he was definitely 16 years old. Then Chris appeared and stood by the wall.

"Chris!" I said happily.
"Congratulation on your finals being over," he said.
"Thanks," I sighed. "I think I failed every one of them because of distraction and all."
"I have come to tell you something," he said in a serious toned voice.

Something? What would that be? Could it be about Zack? Or could it be about me?
