We arrived at the arcade and saw other kids playing DDR. They turned around and saw me and Miles waiting. They knew who we were since we were fighting over one another to set up new record on the machine. The kids moved from the machine as soon as they were done playing 3 rounds. The band members were cheering very loud that it got people to come to the arcade to see our DDR duel. Zack was done with his meeting and he was on his way to the Slums for a quick assignment. While going, he heard crowds cheering at the arcade so he decided to stop by. With his tall height, he was able to tower over the audience to see the sight clearly. He saw me on the machine with Miles waiting for him to choose the song. The first song was "Drop the Bomb (system SF mix)." An easy song; I thought to myself as I began to step on the arrows. Couple of the band members were even following the steps behind the machine on the ground. Yup folks, we are DDR geeks who do these actions. I was missing couple of arrows, but I was fine with it. Miles asked me to choose the next song so I chose "Tomorrow Perfume". It was an easy song for both of us. I know Miles is going to choose a super hard song at the last round so I decided to do something to relax our body. The song went by fast because it was easy and for now it was Miles's turn to choose the final song. But this time, Kimmy chose the last song and it was the song that both of us weren't familiar with. It was "Red Zone" and with the preview the song seemed very fast. The song started and both of us were trying our best to sight read the arrows while it was coming up fast. It was a challenge indeed since it was 8 feet song instead of 7 feet. While I was little struggling, Miles was stepping and enjoying himself. Garrr, that gaming freak! I could barely move my feet when the round was done while Miles was laughing at me. That baka, I'll kill him later!!! The score was the most important thing and like my prediction I lost.

"No way!!!!" I said crying. "I need to work with Kimmy now, but it isn't so bad."
"I think you gonna like it a lot!" Kimmy smiled.
"How about match in Para Para!!!" I said pointing at the machine.
"Gakk..." Miles said. "I can't do freestyle dancing! Besides I need to go somewhere with Kimmy"
"Alright then," I smiled. "So Kimmy any info on the job?"
"I'll text you later," she said hugging Miles's arm while walking.
"Hahh~~~ couples..." I sighed as I walked towards the machine.
"Hey Aurora," I heard Zack's voice from behind.
"Oh.. Zack," I said turning around. "What brings you here?"
"People were cheering so I came to check what's going on," Zack said smiling. "You were really good at that dancing stuff. You should teach me how to do it."
"Sure," I smiled. "But aren't you going somewhere?"
"Yeah," he said scratching the back of his neck. "On a quick assignment."
"You should not slack off," I said giggling. "Well I have to go practice. See ya..."
"Wait... Au...rora..." Zack said as he watched me running towards the school.

It seems like he has not met Aerith yet. Maybe I should introduce them to one another or should I not? I don't know... my heart is beating faster and faster it hurts. But we just met yesterday and still... Ahhh!!! Complicity driving me nuts!!! I was walking to school slowly and saw people walking by. Yup! When I'm not on the stage I was an ordinary person living an ordinary day. Ordinary day by Venessa Carlton started playing in my head. When will that ordinary boy appear and drag me out of this lonely life? I saw Kimmy and Miles kissing in front of the fountain, but didn't say hi to them or anything. They were my friends, but also they were lovers. Kimmy spotted me walking to school by myself while I was looking down. She looked away as she felt sorry for me. When I reached school, I walked for the practice room where there was piano. I could go home, but I wanted to go to school for some odd reason. I heard dropping noise and when I turned around I saw giant worms crawling slowly towards me. I fixed my shoe laces and began to run as fast as possible towards the practice room, but a canine like monster appeared in front of me and blocked my route. I back up as the monsters were coming towards me and eventually got myself surrounded. I wondered why they were after me. When the canine like monster jumped I stepped on a pebble and fell on the ground. I covered my face with my arm when the canine was about to bite me. Then I heard slash and saw the canine falling in front of me. I saw a tall figure walking towards me putting his sword on his back. He crouched down and put his hand in front of me.

"Are you alright?" I heard a familiar voice.
"Thank you," I said as I grabbed the hand and being pulled up.
"It's dangerous wondering around by yourself," he said looking down at me.
"You are..." I paused when I saw his face. "Angeal, right?"
"That would be me," he said.
"It is an honor to meet you," I said being hyper. "Name's Aurora."
"So you are Aurora that Zack mentioned," he chuckled to himself. "Seems he shows a lot of interest in you. I had to end the conversation sort because he told me he has some businesses to take care of."
"That's nice of you," I smiled trying to keep my hyperness to myself.
"AURORA!!!!!" I heard Kimmy running towards me. "Are you alright? I heard from students that you were being chased."
"But guess you are safe," Miles said looking at me. "Thank you sir for saving our friend."
"No problem," Angeal began to walk towards the gate of the school. "I have to go to my assignment. Take care of yourselves."
"Okay! Take care!!!" I said waving at him while jumping up and down.
"Aurora-pyon has become a bunny again," Kimmy sighed.
"I have been saved by my role model.. how could I not be hyper!!!" I said doing the victory sign. "I'm dead special!!!!!"
"Yeah yeah," Miles saw Zack running towards where we were.
"Aurora!!!!" Zack stopped and panted in front of me. "I've been looking for you."
"Aurora was attacked just now," Kimmy said.
"And Angeal came and saved her," Miles said putting both of his arms behind his neck.
"Angeal did?" Zack smiled. "I'm glad that you are safe. Here..."
"Flowers?" I said receiving a bouquet of flowers. "For what?"
"For... ummmm," he blushed a little bit. "Good luck on the concert just incase I don't see you before then."
"Thanks," I smiled and blushed a lot. "I'll do well. I know it!"
"AWWW!!! Aurora got flowers!!!!" Kimmy said it enviously.
"I was wondering..." Zack said looking at me. "How about a dinner tonight?"
"For real?" I said surprising.
"Yeah," he said. "Something matter?"
"Nope!" I said smiling brightly. "I have free time tonight."
"Awesome!" he said spotting Angeal near the school gate. "Opps! I gotta go! Probably he was looking for me. Well, I'll call you when I'm done and we can meet up."
"Sure," I said. "Good luck!"
"Thanks! See ya around," Zack ran off to where Angeal was standing.

I felt my heart beating faster when I turned around. I looked down at the flowers. Kimmy walked with me back home because she has to drag me to my job place. I put the flowers nicely in the vase and put water in them. Kimmy then dragged me to my room and opened my closet. She pulled out a short Jean, a long white T-shirt, and short pink jacket. She told me to dress up quickly because we are going to be late otherwise. I wondered why I had to dress up like this, but it was cute in a way so quickly changed to it. With my running shoes on, I walked outside and saw Kimmy waiting outside. Kimmy grabbed my wrist and ran towards the Shinra company building. I wondered what kind of stuff Kimmy was doing in there. She dragged me to elevator and hit the button where it said "Soldier Director's Office". Am I in trouble or something??? As the elevator open, Kimmy kept on dragging me until I was in the office. The two worlds have been fused, so the mission objective of Soldier and everything was different indeed. I wonder why Kimmy is dragged me to the director's office.The gentleman with glasses on turned around.

"I have brought her," Kimmy said putting me in front of her. "Tadah!"
"Ehhhh????" I said looking back Kimmy. "What is this all about???"
"You'll see," Kimmy winked at me.
"You must be Aurora, the music genius Kimmy has told me about," the gentleman got up and smiled.
"I am Aurora, but am not music genius," I said giggling. "heheh..."
"I want you to be a spy," he said looking at me carefully. "There is a party next Saturday with scientists from all over the world and their sponsors. For the party, I want you to play piano during the feast. Don't worry, you won't be alone. I'll be sending a Soldier Operative."
"So I just play piano and that's it?" I asked.
"We will give you an ear piece where everything you hear will be audible here," he said. "Kimmy told me that you would be the prefect person to send."
"How do you know Kimmy first of all?" I asked in curious way.
"He became my uncle when the worlds fused," Kimmy whispered.
"Oh," I said being surprised.
"So what do you say? Enjoying yourself at a party while helping us out?" He said showing interest in me.
"You said a Soldier Operative would go with me right?" I asked.
"Yes," the director said. "Anyone you prefer or know?"
"I don't mind anyone," I said smiling.
"Actually uncle," Kimmy went over to him and whispered into his ears. "Aurora has huge crush on Zack Fair."
"I understand," the director said. "Meet me at the briefing room in Soldier floor this Saturday. You will be trained for some acting a little bit. Understand?"
"Yes sir," I said out loud.

After that Kimmy and I went to entrance floor and sat down at the table. I can't believe I was appointed for such a hard job. Dance huh??? Wearing dress and let the silky dress flow as I move smoothly holding the partner's hand... I took social dancing class before and my favorite was Waltz of all. I wonder if Kimmy made a right choice of choosing me out of all. Kimmy asked what kind of songs I'll be playing. I told her that I will play classical piano pieces mostly. Kimmy suggested me playing what I played for last year's competition which was "L'Isle Joyeuse" by Debussy. I loved playing that song because it was challenging and it sounded very pretty. Kimmy also suggested 1st Arabesques and Clair de Lune if I know how to play them. Of course I know how to play them is what I wanted to say, but I didn't want to be a show off. While we were chatting and laughing, I saw Zack coming upstaris to use the elevator. I stayed calm not to be busted, but he knew it was me sitting and chatting with Kimmy.

"Hey Aurora, we keep on seeing each other today," Zack said.
"Yeah... what a coincidence," I said looking at Kimmy. "Let's go, Kimmy."
"Wait," Zack said. "What about dinner?"
"Oh yeah," I blushed while looking down.
"I'll get going then," Kimmy said. "Have fun you two."
"Alright," I smiled and tilted my head to the right.
"I'll be back after I change my clothes," Zack looked at me. "Could you wait?"
"Don't take too long," I said sitting back down at the table.

After about 30 minute later, Zack came down wearing casual clothes instead of his uniform. It was my first time seeing him wearing something else besides his uniform so it was a new sight. I got up as he walked towards the table. Without saying any word, he grabbed my wrist and ran down the stairs. My only guess was that he had an assignment at night or something. He took me to a little restaurant with all different kinds of food. Some people were looking at Zack and whispered among themselves about what a Soldier operative doing in the common people's place and something like that. I saw Zack's expression changing when he heard them whispering. I knew he wanted to blend in with the normal people, but he could not since he had to wear his uniform. In the game when I played, Soldiers were talked bad about among common people. They look like normal human beings to me, but why? I received the menus from the waitress. I handed one to Zack trying to cheer him up, but I knew that the only person who could cheer him up was Aerith. Then I wondered why he asked me out for dinner all of a sudden, but I decided to wait for a bit. After we ordered our food, I heard my cellphone ringing. I looked at it and it was my mother.

"Sorry Zack," I said opening my cellphone. "Hello?"
"Hi honey," my mom said smiling. "Is everything alright? You know something strange happened to the world. Have you notice?"
"Yeah," I said. "Is everything alright?"
"Yes everything's fine. In fact your father got a better job position," my mom said happily. "What are you doing now?"
"Hanging out with a friend," I said.
"Kimmy?" My mom said.
"Nope, she's busy with Miles as usual. I became friends with him not too long ago," I said. "Listen mom, I'll call you later hmmm?"
"Sounds like you are on a date," my mom said giggling. "Alright hun.. I'll talk to you later."
"Wait ma..." mom hung up.
"Something wrong?" Zack was concerned.
"Nothing," I giggled. "She was asking me whether I found a decent boyfriend or not. I told her no."
"Awwww," Zack said. "I'm sure you'll find one soon. Who knows maybe I could be the one.

I blushed big time hearing that. Is he asking me out already or is he just showing mere interest in me??? I was confused, but I felt happy inside.
