"Are you alright?" Zack asked looking at me closely. "Are you blushing looking at me?"
"Maybe," I turned around sipping the orange soda. "Just your eyes are pretty. It's like the color of an ocean."
"You think so?" he said. "It's a trademark for Soldiers. Eyes that are filled with Mako energy."
"I wish I had eyes like those," I said. "I just have plain brown eyes."
"Brown eyes can be pretty too," he said sitting back. "At least you have a pretty voice that acts like a magnet."
"Magnet?" I was confused.
"Your voice made me talk to you in the first place," he said. "It was like a magic spell."
"Hmmmm," I said sipping the soda again. "Can I ask you something?"
"Anything," he said. "I have questions for you too."
"What do you like doing during spare time?" I asked being curious.
"I like training to get stronger. I want to achieve my dream," he said looking up at the dark night sky. "What about you?"
"I practice piano, sing, and dance," I said. "I live alone so I get pretty lonely."
"Awwww," Zack said as the waitress brought our food. "Finally food's here!!!"

I giggled because Zack was hyper. Zack got up after finishing his meal and went up to the counter to pay for it. I was surprised how well mannered he was compare to the guys I know. I wondered about what's his parents would be like. I bet they raised him well. He came back and waited till I finish my meal. After I was done, he grabbed my wrist and ran for the park. I felt like I was on a date with him or something. There were little kids on the park, but no one on the swings. I ran and rode on the swing. Zack sat on the swing next to mine. The little kids were watching us and began to think that we are couple. I know that we are just friends, but the more the time passed, my heart beat faster and faster. Then the question I wanted to ask him popped into my head. I wondered if I should ask him or not because I didn't want to hurt him or anything. Then I saw Zack's mouth opening like he is going to say something to me.

"Hey, Aurora," he said looking at me. "Aren't you scared of me or anything?"
"Scared?" I laughed. "Why would I be scared of you? If I were scared I would have said no to your dinner invitation. Why?"
"Just wondering," Zack looked at me. "We, Soldiers aren't normal humans you know."
"Really?" I said showing interest. "I did not know."
"We get surgeries," Zack looked down. "We are Mako infused human beings."
"Still normal to me," I said. "What's the difference anyway besides having better physical body for fighting? Nothing right? I think it's cool to have stronger body."
"You think so?" Zack was surprised.
"Yup!" I said getting up. "Protectors of the weak. I wouldn't mind being a fighter, but I have no physical talents."
"At least you make people pleased with your music," Zack said looking up at me. "I was pleased with you singing."
"Thanks," I said blushing. "So is that why people talk bad about Soldiers?"
"Maybe," he said. "I don't care of what people think. We protect them whenever they are in danger. They aren't in the right position to say that kind of stuff."
"Some people don't know how to thank," I said. "I'm grateful of you people sacrificing your lives to protect people. I wish I could do something great like that."
"You wish a lot huh?" He said getting up. "I can teach you how to use the sword if you want."
"Really?" I said getting excited.
"Yeah," he put his hand on my shoulder and looked down. "From now I'll be your mentor."
"Hahaha very funny," I said laughing. "I think I should ask someone like Angeal for advice teehee."
"He's gonna bore you to death with his lectures," Zack laughed a little. "But I've learned a lot from him."
"He's my..." my eyes became twinkly. "Role model..."
"Wha? You serious?" Zack laughed. "You are one of them Angeal fangirls perhaps?"
"Maybe," I said walking towards the exit of the park. "We should get going. It's getting late."
"Right," Zack got up and ran towards me.

The stars twinkled on the sky and it made me feel relaxed. I raised my hand and tried to grab the star on the sky. Just out of the blue, I jumped and tried to grab it. While walking, Zack laughed me trying to grab the stars in the sky. Suddenly, I became quiet thinking about my sad ending. I knew we can't be lovers forever and eventually Zack will fall to the Church of the Slum and meet Aerith and he will fall in love with her and do anything for her and.... and... eventually... marry her perhaps? I was not sure about the last one since I don't know the ending of the game. All I know that he falls to the Church and meets up with Aerith and that's how their love starts. Stop blushing!! Stop it!!!! Just stay with him as friends.. don't go any farther! I started to talk to myself in my mind as I looked as his back. I wanted to hug him tightly and tell him how much I love him, but it was too early for me to tell him so and it would ruin his future. Zack walked closer to me and put his left arm around me. I just stayed quiet and decides to accept his actions since he doesn't know about his future. Should I tell him or should I stay quiet? Zack looked down at me and wondered what was wrong with me. He asked where my house was so I told him where it is. He told me he is going to walk me to my house. There were couple people wearing black suit in front of my house when we arrived. Zack looked at the watch and scratched the back of his neck while giggling.

"Zack," the man with the little pony tail said looking at Zack. "I thought the director told you to be back by 8 PM"
"I know I know," Zack said looking at me handing me a piece of paper. "Call me whenever okay? I might get busy with this new assignment I'm getting, but I'll try to answer."
"Alright," I said smiling. "You gonna be alright? I can explain to the director why you are late."
"We will take care of it," the man with the pony tail said.
"See you around," Zack said waving at me while walking back to the company building.

I walked into my house and ran upstaris to my bedroom and jumped on my bed. I hugged my pillow and rolled around on my bed being all hyper. When I looked up on my wall, I realized that my poster was gone. That was a mystery indeed because it was... it was gone since the day when the world fused together! I had an hypothesis about this whole world fusing thing especially about Zack. When the worlds fused, could he have came out of the poster? I have not played the game long enough to understand Zack's personality, but he was nice to Aerith and helped her out because she saved his life by saying "hello~~~" or could he have fallen into "love at first sight?" I looked myself in the mirror and sighed. I was not good looking at Aerith; just had plain brown eyes, long black hair, standing about 4ft 10inches... I was just ordinary looking with some music ability. Even though I was popular, the guys asked me out because of my popularity. They just don't know what kind of weirdo I am. I only played video games inside my house because what stays in my house stayed in my house.

The school has been going fine except my grades were dropping slowly. Kimmy giggled as I was daydreaming during class and got hit by a chalk on forehead. I had to go to detention because I wasn't paying attention during class. I sat in detention doing nothing, but homework. The homework for music theory class was easy so I started out with the easier stuff. The problem was the Psychology essay explaining about one's mind during love. What kind of random essay topic is that huh? I did not know how to write. I knew Kimmy and couple other students who are in relationship would be easy, but for me I had no idea. I had crush on someone and should I explain my feeling and mind? I saw my classmates running inside the classroom with an excitement. I still had an hour left till my detention's over, but I wondered why they were so excited. Out of the group, Kimmy walked forward and smiled.

"You have a guest waiting for you near the school gate. The professor told us to tell you the message and set you free," Kimmy said giggling.
"Yeah," Jamie giggled. "Soldier boy's out there."
"Going on a date?" Tina said poking my arm.
"How would I know," I said blushing while putting the books in my bag.
"You don't have to hide it from us," Kimmy said.
"It's not a date," I said getting up. "In the future he will...."
"Shhhh!!!" Kimmy said. "Enough with that negative stuff."
"Talking about Aerith huh?" Jamie said. "I went to the Church in the Slums and did not see her."
"What do you mean?" I asked. "She's always there... supposedly."
"It's what I call a mystery," Tina said. "Com'on Aurora, you can't have your guest waiting forever."
"Right," I said grabbing my bag and running out as the others follow me.

-- In front of the School Gate --

"Zack?" I said looking at him. "What brings you here?"
"What brings me here?" Zack said putting his right hand underneathe his chin. "I came to get you. Remember? I told you I'm going to teach you how to use the sword. The training room is currently empty and I told the researchers that I'm going to use it."
"I thought you were joking," I said surprising.
"Why would I joke about it? Com'on!!!!" Zack grabbed my wrist and began to run.
"Wahhh~~~" I said he scooped me up in his arms while running.
"There they go," Kimmy smiled.
"But why did our worlds fuse together?" Tina asked.
"I'm not too sure," Kimmy said looking away. "But it doesn't matter right? I'm happy that Aurora's happy."
"Yeah," the others agreed.

My face was completely red when I was being carried on Zack's arm. I looked away of why he was in such a hurry. I guess the training room isn't always available or something like that. Zack told me while going that the scientists are out for a conference today so that the training room is reserved to the Soldier members. He told me that he is nervous because Angeal will be watching as well. I was nervous as well since it was my first time holding a weapon. As we reached the Soldier floor, I saw Angeal waiting in the training room. From the cabinet, Zack took out a normal sword and handed to me. It looked heavy, but it was heavy at all. I put my bag down by the cabinet and walked into the training room holding it. I was wearing a short jean skirt so I knew that I need to be careful moving. Zack looked at me and wondered if I could train with skirt on. I told him that it was no problem for me since I did not want to waste time changing. Zack whispered to me that we will train with the sword until Angeal has to go work and then slack off. I giggled because it was a funny plan indeed. It reminded me of a Korean movie where girl and a boy of the same age became teacher and student. It was same for us except we weren't studying for school. When the training began, Zack could not help but laugh because I looked awkward holding a sword. I laughed as well seeing myself. I was sweating after 30 minute of learning the basics of using the sword like holding and slashing down. Angeal told me during the training that since I'm light, I might be able to take on some weak monsters if I learn how to balance myself with the sword. He told me that because of my light weight, I might move quicker than the weak monsters. I smiled and giggled since I was being complimented by my role model. 45 minute passed and Angeal left for his work and I saw other Soldier members gathered around the training room to watch me getting trained. I blushed since I did not like getting attentions.

"We should rest for a bit," Zack smiled as handed me a towel. "Tired huh?"
"Not really," I smiled. "I can't wait to get better."
"Everything needs practice," Zack said putting his sword against the wall. "Hey Aurora. Can I ask you a favor?"
"Yeah what is it?" I smiled.
"Well for my next assignment..." Zack blushed as he looked away. "I'm learning how to do social dance."
"That's awesome!" I smiled as I know what was going on. "So basically you want me to be your practice mate?"
"Yeah..." he said as he walked up closer to me. "Shall we?"
"Right now?" I said blushing as well.
"Y... yeah..." he said pulling out his hand.
"Sure," I said putting my hand on top of his.

The other Soldier members who were watching us showed more interest as we face one another holding our hands. Without music, I let him do the steps he learned last night and I followed it. I could tell Zack was a quick learner interms of physical movements. We spun around as our feet guided us. I felt like I were at the real dance doing it. I never enjoyed dancing with a guy this much before. I got a CD from my bag outside the training room and popped it into the music player and turned on a slow song. Our movements were smoother when the music was on with the beat. I wished for this moment to last forever, but it did not last long when Zack's cellphone rang. I turned off the music and saw as he answered the phone seriously. He told me that he is on an urgent assignment and he has to leave now. I smiled as I saw him run off with his sword on his back.

"Orange no Hatsukoi... I think my mood is turning orange." I thought to myself as I walked out of the training room.
