I was laying on my bed with my bunny pajamas on listening to Perhaps Love by Howl & J from Korean drama call "Gong". The chorus goes something like "Perhaps love? If you are same as me, is it the start of love? My heart keeps on telling me that I love you. My heart shouts so that the whole world can hear it. Why can I hear it now? The love has been found so that the two of us could meet." It's a song that a boy and a girl sing. I felt like I was shooting a romantic drama. My face blushed and I hid under my blanket to hide my blushed face. But my question was is Zack really in love with me or is he just being flirty? Because I see him being nice to other girls in the headquarters, but am not sure. I decided to ignore since I'm happy to be friends with him. I was curious as my heart started to beat faster and faster. Should I tell him that I love him? What if he tells me that we are just friends? My heart was confused and it was in pain of this confusion. My cellphone rang and I got out of my bed to answer it.

"Hello?" I answered.
"Hey Aurora," it was Zack who called me.
"Yeah?" I asked. "Still have more things to tell me?"
"No no," he said in a relaxing way. "Just wanted to say... good night and sweet dreams."
"You too," I blushed hearing his sweet voice telling me such sweet things. "Hearing your voice will drive nightmares away."
"I'll appear in your dream and fight whatever's giving you nightmares," Zack said being silly. "Well am off to crash so night!"
"Okay! Sweet dreams," I smiled as I hung up.

I lay back down on my bed being even more hyper. I hugged my pillow and looked at the ceiling as his voice echoed in my ear. Am I really dreaming or what? He called me at this late hour to say good night and sweet dreams. How lovely is that??? I wonder if I could protect him from his nightmares. I was just a weakling compared to him. He was different from my classmates who are same age as Zack. The guys in my class were shorter, weaker, and careless. I put blanket on myself and turned off the light to go back to sleep. I fell asleep easily without rolling around couple of times. I think his voice echoing in my head is putting me to sleep easily. Next day, the classroom was loud as if there was a concert going on. As I entered I saw everyone reading the newspaper going crazy over the front cover article. I sat down and saw everyone looking at me. I wondered why, but I figured out as soon as Miles showed me the front cover article. My face blushed as I saw picture of me hugging Zack at the park. The article was titled "Pop Princess Aurora found in love." Then I saw Kimmy walking into the classroom skipping with joy. When she felt something burning, she looked at my direction and saw my glaring eyes. That whole day, everyone was asking me about how far we went and stuff like that. I was getting tired of their questions since it was all the same. That was the farest we went, but the classmates would not believe me for some odd reason. Then something even worse happened during P.E. class when I saw familiar figure walking into school. Zack? What is he doing at my school again? He ran towards me when he spotted me in the field. Everyone gathered when the two of us met in the middle of the field outside.

"What are you doing here?" I asked looking at Zack.
"Well," Zack scratched the back of his neck. "I just came to see you before I get trapped in the lab for couple of days. I want to have your face memorized so I can think about you while being experimented."
"Experimented?" I was surprised. "Would something go wrong?"
"No," Zack smiled as he squat down to look into my eyes. "They are testing new formula on my body to see if how strong I could go without breaking my limits. I'll be out before your concert so don't worry."
"I hope nothing goes wrong," I said being worried.
"Nothing will go wrong," Zack smiled as he gently leaned closer to me and giving a gentle kiss on my cheek. "Well I gotta go. I'll miss you."
"I'll miss you too," I said blushed in red. "Take care."
"I'll be fine just sleeping in the Mako filled chamber for several days," he winked. "I'll be stronger when I'm out."
"Okay," I looked around seeing the crowd going awww. "I gotta go back to class."
"I've asked Angeal to train you if he could," Zack said before he took of. "I'm sure he will teach you a lot."
"Okay," my eyes became teary all of a sudden.

His image of walking back made me worried a bit since he told me that he is going to be experimented on for couple of days. What if the science department screws up and put him into danger. But his smile made me less worried since it looked like he's been through similar procedure before. But still during P.E. class I could not forcus because I was worried about him. During other classes I was worried too and I got hit by the chalk again on the forehead. During lunch time everyone was telling me about how sweet he was coming to school just to see my face before he gets locked in for several days. Silly Zack, he is not dumb enough to forget my face during that several days. I began to eat lunch trying to cheer myself up. The others were telling me to stop worry as well since Zack's face wasn't telling everyone that he was laying back then. My face was pale when I looked up. Everyone was worried about me not being cheerful. That was how I went back to my ordinary days: going to school, band rehearsal, and homework at home. But I felt like someone's watching over me. Who would it be?

Thursday came and I decided to cheer myself up. I walked into the classroom smiling. As I entered everyone greeted me since I was back to my normal self. Kimmy told me that she went to check up on Zack in the science department lab. She told me that he is doing fine and sleeping well. I asked Kimmy if she found any changes on Zack. She told me that she saw nothing changed on his physical body, but she heard from the researchers that he was growing stronger. Stronger... I wondered what they meant by stronger as well as Kimmy was concerned. The classes went smoothly except we had pop quiz during math class. I reviewed every subject except math cause I don't like math, but I got lucky since I knew how to solve the questions on the pop quiz. The dream I had last night was bothering me since I dreamt about meeting Zack after his experiment is done. He was a lot taller and had more muscles and he looked a lot older too. It disturbed me somehow since he looked a lot older than 16 year old. I sighed as the bell rang for school dismisal. When I was walking towards the gate with my friends, I saw Angeal standing against the school gate with his arms crossed. The way he was standing calm looked really cool to me. He heard me giggling with my friend and opened his eyes looking at me.

"Hey Aurora," he said getting off the school gate.
"What brings you here?" I asked looking at Angeal.
"I believe Zack gave you the message that I'll be training you while he is getting experimented," he said.
"He did told me, but..." I said looking at my friends.
"Gambatte!!!" They were running towards the arcade.
"Wahhhh~~~" I sighed. "Okay I'll go train now..."
"Something wrong?" He asked looking at me in shadowy mood.
"Well I..." I was embarrassed to tell him what was going on since it was really childish. "We had a bet that the loser of the DDR match is buying dinner tomorrow before concert and they told me I automatically lose because I can't go compete. Wehhhh~~~"
"Oh boy," he walked up to me and patted my hair gently. "Let's go to the arcade then. I'm actually here to watch over you not to train you."
"Watch over me for what?" I asked. "Is someone after me?"
"No," he said chuckling to himself. "Your boyfriend asked me to watch over you."
"Boyfriend?!" I was shocked. "I have one? Since when?"
"Ask him when he comes out today," Angeal said as he began to walk towards where my friends ran off to.

I walked towards the arcade and saw them playing. As soon as I appeared behind them they were scared. I jumped on the machine and challenged one of my friends to a match. Kimmy got off the machine and stood besides Angeal. She saw as I enjoyed playing DDR and be hyper. Kimmy and I met in middle school and we've been friends since then. I remember Kimmy told me that her favorite character in Crisis Core was Angeal because he seems very mature and calm compare to little puppy Zacky (that's how she calls Zack). At the end I won the DDR competition so I was rescued out of the whole buying dinner thing tomorrow. Angeal then walked with me to the science department lab to see Zack coming out. I was scared that my dream would come true. The door opened, and I saw an old gentleman wearing glasses who walked up to me to greet me. Then I saw Zack in the circular tube filled with greenish liquid. He looked different to me and I was scared that his body changed over such short period. Angeal was surprised how the result turned out to be different and that was why the scientists were questioning themselves. But the result was "better" result meaning that it wasn't failure. The liquid went down and the chamber opened with Zack all wet. I walked up closer to him. The scientists handed me a towel to give to Zack when he gets up. I saw his eyes opening up and saw his eyes shining in blue. He blinked couple of times and turned around to see me holding a towel. He got the towel from my hands and started to dry his hair.

"Looks like your body actually responded to the formula while others did not respond," the professor who conducted the experiment said to Zack.
"Really?" Zack said looking down at himself. "My shirt seems tighter."
"You got bigger," I said looking away.
"Am not," Zack said chuckling. "I think you are the one who got smaller."
"Zack," Angeal said looking at him. "Go take shower. Your uniform needs to be washed."
"Alright," Zack then whispered something to Angeal and walked out.
"Aurora," Angeal said looking at me. "Time for train."
"Alright," I said following him out of the lab. "But I don't have my uniform with me."
"Doesn't matter," he lowered and whispered to me. "Zack told me to drag you out of the science lab."
"Am I being watched? I don't think I'm special," I said smiling.
"But Hojo, the director of the science department is showing interest in you," Angeal said walking into the briefing room while he pushed me forward gently.
"Wahhh~~~~" I said when I was pushed into the briefing room.
"Zack told me to spoil the truth," Angeal looked away. "Since he is overly guilty telling you himself."
"Why am I scared?" I said as I looked at Angeal.
"Hojo first asked Zack to approach you nicely because he found you very interesting," Angeal said. "At first Zack was not interested so he was acting to be nice to you and..."
"And what?" I said getting angry all of a sudden. "So basically everything was an act?"
"Calm down!" Angeal raised his voice as he went on. "He has been failing his mission to watch over you recently. He has been meeting you secretly and that's why the Turks are watching over you. Zack is trying to protect you so you won't have to be in that experimental chamber. He volunteered to be the experiment in your place."
"Zack did that... in my place?" I was speechless.
"That's why the result came out differently," Angeal leaned against the wall as he looked at me. "The result of the experiment is that Zack is now stronger than average 2nd class Soldier members."
"But why are they showing interest in me?" I asked. "I want to know that!"
"We aren't sure," Zack walked into the briefing room wearing bigger uniform. "Sorry to keep you waiting."
"BAKA!" I said slamming my fist on his stomach. "Baka! Baka!! Baka!!!!"
"It's okay Aurora," Zack hugged me. "At least you didn't had to go through that before your concert. Besides I feel great!"
"You sure?" I got worried looking at him.
"I'm positive. My new height is 6ft 3inches according to the researcher. It isn't so bad being 2 inches taller," Zack said lifting me up. "You have taught me Aurora... that am a human not a monster."
"I'll wait outside," Angeal walked outside to leave us two alone.
"Sorry," Zack said to Angeal. "We need a moment hehehe~~~"
"Zack..." I said looking down. "I've done nothing to you... I don't deserve this too..."
"Shhhhhh..." Zack put his finger in front of my mouth. "No more crying got it?"
"I'm not going to cry," I said as I was hugged by him with my feet off the ground.
"Good," he said putting his hand on top of my back. "You have helped me a lot, Aurora. The moment I saw you, I realized something different."
"...." I remained silent.
"And to show my gratitude," he leaned closer to me.

Could he be trying to kiss me? Wait kissing is too early for our relationship. But when he was leaning closer to me, the briefing room door opened. Zack put me down on the ground and walked outside as Angeal was calling him out to the training room. Zack told me to wait in his room since he wanted to spend more time with me. I went to his room and waited sitting on his bed. Bed made me sleepy and therefore I laid on his bed and fell asleep. After his training was done, he entered his room and saw me sleeping hugging his pillow tightly.

"Oh boy," Zack said walking closer to his bed. "I told her to wait and now she's asleep peacefully in my bed. Oh well, guess I should wait for a better day for it."

He said that as he put blanket over me to keep me warm. Because I took his bed, Zack slept on his couch even though it was small for him.
