"I'm sorry," Kimmy said looking at Zack gripping my hand tightly. "It's my fault that I made my uncle send her in the first place."
"Don't worry," Zack siad looking at my pale face. "You two did not know the truth anyway."
"I wish I had known," Kimmy sighed. "Aurora was always outgoing and hyper while she is having a hard time with everything. She pretends too much."
"I didn't know that," Zack looked at me breathing slowly. "So she hides stuff from you as well?"
"A lot of things," Kimmy sighed. "I'm her best friend and she still tries to deal with her hardships by herself when she's alone at home. She just burst into tears in front of me a week after she got a call from her mom that her father passed away. I had no idea that her father passed away because she wasn't showing any of that. What a strange girl."
"She is that kind of a girl huh?" Zack gripped my hand tighter. "I think I have a lot to learn from her."
"Me too," Kimmy widen her eyes when she saw my eyes being opened. "AURORA!"
"Kimmy," I smiled. "Am I alive? I thought I died because of Mako or something."
"Silly," Kimmy said giggling. "Mako is indeed harmful to people, but I don't think they can kill people so easily. Are you ignoring somebody Aurora?"
"Huh?" I said turning my eyes to Zack. "I'm glad that you are safe, Zack. I thought that weird professor would do something to you."
"Of course am safe," Zack said being confident. "You think am that weak enough to be defeated so easily?"
"Sorry," I looked away. "I was just worried that's all."
"It's alright," Zack hugged me tightly making me blush.
"Well I'll leave you love birds alone," Kimmy got up walking for the door. "I'll give you a punishment if you hurt Aurora."
"What?" Zack was lost hearing that all of a sudden.

I could not believe I was alive. How was it possible that I'm still alive? I felt dizzy and felt weird inside of my body. I felt like magical powers were inside of my body flowing in my blood. What was this power? Could it be that I'm not a human? The warmth coming out of Zack's body was relaxing me a bit from questions coming out of my head. I was happy that Zack was alright. I knew he would be alright, but guess I worried for nothing. I looked down and saw myself wearing pajamas. I felt embarrassed wearing my pajamas in front of Zack since I only wore them at home. Come to think of it, this isn't my room where I'm at right now. Where is this place? I looked to the side and saw windows showing the sky. I was high up on a building or something. I must be in the Shinra company building since it was the tallest building in the place. The couch had pile of clothes and I recognized one shirt that he wore on the dinner date. It was Zack's room that I was in and that means I've been sleeping on Zack's bed?! It was my second time sleeping on his bed and it was weird how I was able to sleep well on someone else's bed. To let the fresh air in, Zack walked over and opened one of the window letting air inside his room. On his desk, I saw a picture frame turned upside down, I wonder what the picture frame was. I asked Zack what the picture frame was and why it was turned down. He blushed as he grabbed the picture frame and showing it to me. When I saw the picture I was shocked. It was me at the video game convention. It was that embarrassing picture of me that Kimmy took during the convention. There was a huge sign with Zack's picture on it and it was me trying to kiss on his cheek. I wondered why he would have this picture on the frame instead of other pictures of me.

"I asked Kimmy if I can have a picture of you and I picked this one," Zack said blushing. "Kimmy told me this happened before the world fused together."
"So you know about the worlds," I looked at the picture. "Kimmy forced me to do it in fornt of other people who were there."
"This picture makes me blush," Zack said looking at the picture.
"I bet it does," I said smiling. "It made me blush while doing it."
"Aurora," Zack put the picture frame down on the table near by his bed and sat besides me on the bed. "I learned your secret from Kimmy."
"What would that be?" I giggled. "I don't have a secret."
"I heard that you hide things from everyone," Zack pulled me closer to him making me lean onto his right arm.
"I don't hide things," I smiled. "I never do..."
"I don't think Kimmy would lie about such things," Zack said in a worried tone.
"I don't want to bother anyone that's why," I said looking away. "I can deal with my own hardships, but I end up crying."
"You should never do that," he put his arms around me. "At least don't hide things from me. I won't hide anything from you. We can comfort one another when times of trouble. Right?"
"Alright," I said forming a smile on my face as rest my head against his chest.
"Speaking of trouble," Zack said changing his mood to happy tone. "Why don't we go somewhere for fun? Like a trip or vacation."
"I have finals coming up," I said looking at the calender. "The most stressful period students have to go through."
"Finals?" Zack was confused. "What's that?"
"You get tested on all the materials you learned in a semester," I said. "I should start studying for it... ahhhh... Zack!!!"
"You should stay in bed till you recover," Zack said pushing me back into his bed while I was trying to get out. "The researchers told me to watch over you until they think you are recovered."
"Nonsense!!!" I said. "Am perfectly fine!!!!"
"No you aren't," he said handing me the mirror. "Look at your eyes."
"My eyes..." I said looking at my eyes that were half brown and half blue.
"You are technically one of us," Zack said putting the mirror down. "Like me, you are Mako infused human being."
"Still am perfectly fine. I can walk around too," I said getting out of the bed and started to walk. "Uhhh... uhhhhh..."
"With those eyes you can't see things clearly," Zack walked towards me and caught me before I fell on the ground. "The eyes have to fully change their colors. Just rest, Aurora."

To my surprise, I knew why the Mako did not hurt me. Was I infused with it the moment I was born or did that weirdo scientist did some experiment last night? I was lost since I did not know the answer to this question. Final was all that was occupying my mind. Now how can I escape to my house when Zcck's here watching over me? I really had to study for the finals since I want to pass the classes I'm taking right now. Finals were just two weeks awayand starting from tomorrow the review session starts at my school; the classes I cannot miss whatsoever, but how can I not miss if I'm having a trouble like this. I just lay down and decided to relax and figure out a way to escape since I can somewhat see if I can just walk while holding onto the wall. But I was in Shinra building not just anywhere and I know that I would get caught easily. I know if I fail this final I need to be a sophomore again next year which isn't so funny. I know Kimmy would take notes for me, but her note taking style was completely different from mine so I did not know what to do. I looked as Zack was resting on the couch. I mean I can rest on the couch while he rest on his own bed. Watching his leg sticking out so much just made me uncomfortable. Oh well I guess being too tall has minuses. I wish I could ask Zack see if he can take me to my house. I can rest at my house so he can have his bed back. Did he slept on the couch like that last night? The door opened and Zack got up from his couch to see who entered his room. It was Professor Hojo who entered. I was scared when I saw his gentleman, but since Zack was with me my fear was disappearing slowly.

"Miss Aurora?" Professor Hojo asked looking at me.
"That would be me," I said being scared a bit.
"Don't worry," Zack said. "He's just here to check up on you."
"The eye color started to change hmmmm," he said writing it down on his clipboard. "Are you having problem walking or moving around?"
"Yeah," I said sighing. "I can't see so I end up tripping."
"I guess your eyes need to change in order for you to recover fully," he said. "I think you can start moving around Wednesday."
"WEDNESDAY?!" I said falling on the bed. "I'll be missing 2 days of review session. I'm gonna fail the exam..."
"But Miss Aurora, you need to rest since your body is going through some major changes," one of the researcher said letting Professor Hojo walk out.
"Uguuu...." I said putting blanket over me completely.
"Maybe that Soldier boy can assist her to school," Professor Hojo said. "If that's important I'll give you permission to leave the bed during school, but somebody has to watch over you."
"That sounds better," I said rolling around on the bed.
"Keep on eye on her," Professor said to Zack before walking out completely.
"Yes Professor," Zack said as he looked at me. "You heard him. You can go to school as long as someone goes with you."
"And that someone else is?" I said getting up from the bed.
"I guess I could go," Zack said sitting on the couch. "If I get permission."
"Hahahahaha," I laughed out loud. "If you go to our school girls are gonna go crazy."
"Why?" Zack said showing interest. "Because am good looking? Or because am a Soldier operative?"
"Both," I said giggling. "I can't wait till tomorrow to see my classmates' reaction on you. They might be shocked since it would be their first time being so close to a Soldier Operative around same age."
"Reactions huh?" Zack said looking at me. "I hope everything goes well."
"It will," I smiled.

The next morning rose and I got up seeing Zack not in his room. The door opened and I saw Zack and Kimmy entering the room with my school stuffs. Kimmy walked with me to the bathroom to help me change into my uniform while she told Zack to wait. Zack was forced to wear his uniform since he does not know what would happen. I told Zack not to bring the sword to school since it might be too dangerous. School was a safe place to be and I don't think monsters or anything would appear. Kimmy guide me back to Zack's room after I dressed up in a school uniform. He carried my bag on his back while having me on his two arms. While walking, Miles joined and Kimmy and him were making fun of me since I am being watched. The four of us entered the classroom and all of the classmates' eyes all went on Zack. He did not liked the attention he was getting, but he tried not to express it too much since it would hurt my feelings. Kimmy told pointed my desk out to Zack. He gently put me down on my desk and sat on the chair that Kimmy got for him. Zack was worried about me looking at my eye color being half and half. Couple of my close classmates came interested in Zack.

"So decided to bring your boyfriend to school???" Tina giggled.
"Not really," I said showing them the eyes.
"What happened?" Jamie said looking at the eyes. "Your eyes are changing into those Mako filled eyes...don't tell me..."
"No," I smiled. "The Shinra people didn't do this. Because I'm having vision problems, he is here to guide me through my day."
"So basically you are blind and your boyfriend's acting like them watch dogs," Tina said sitting by me. "What a sweet boyfriend you have."
"He was ordered to do so, not volunteered," I said when Zack wasn't paying attention. "Tell the truth, I bagged him to do this for me. I'm the guilty one."
"Still," Saori said. "He's willing to sacrifice for you and not many guys do that."
"What about me?" Zack said looking at me.
"Nothing," I said as I took out my mp3 recorder to record the lecture since I can't write.
"What's up with this huh?" I heard the voice that I didn't want to hear for the day. "Showing off your boyfriend to the whole class, Aurora?"
"Just shut up," Tina said looking at Valerie. "You are just jealous of Aurora huh?"
"Not really," Valerie said walking closer to Zack. "Oh? What do we have here... a Soldier Operative. So is this why you've been ditching class Aurora? Dating with a Soldier boy? You know it's not fair to see you flirting around with cute boys everyday."
"I don't flirt around with boys," I said glaring at her showing my eyes.
"Oh? Your eyes seem weird. So you decided to be like the Soldiers huh being a lab experiment? It suits you very well Aurora," Valerie said walking back to her desk. "At least when you are gone, I'll be the most popular girl."
"I'm not dropping out of school because of my eye color," I said. "Alright I'll challenge you to the dance final. If I get higher grade than you, you are forced to transfer out."
"And if you lose, you'll be dropped out of the school and be forced to join with the Soldier," Valerie said glaring at me. "Since you are like them Mako fused freaks!"
"Indeed I am one of them," I said sighing. "Alright I accept my punishment."
"Aurora!" Tina, Jamie, Saori, and Kimmy shouted out my name at the same time.
"I wonder if you can recover by the finals date," Valerie said. "It's next week you know."
"I'm sure it will recover by then," I said confidently.

Valerie moved back to her seat when the professor entered the classroom. The first class was biology and like I expected the professor was showing interested in Zack since he was Mako infused human. I was too, but I did not want the professor to know that. I think everyone in the classroom heard what Valerie said since her voice is as loud as the crows. That arggg... I'll win her at the dance finals this time. I sure I will. This semester was about social dance and I know Valerie's partner was going for dance major. My partner, Jake, was an awesome dancer in break dancing, but in terms of social dancing he was not good with the steps. I was still confident with it since the professor might give us a special assignment for our battle.
