It was first day of school and Ji-Hee was excited. She got off her bed and started getting ready for an exciting day. She quickly went to the bathroom and started brushing her teeth. While brushing an image popped out. The guy whom she saw last night out of her window. Scary, white haired guy who was spinning his knife with his index finger. Ji-Hee was froze for a bit hoping that he doesn't go to her school. She quickly get dressed and went downstairs to where the kitchen was. While she was eating a piece of toast, a doorbell rang. With curiosity, she opened the door and saw Rick.

"Good morning, are you ready to go?" Rick asked.
"Good morning. I'm just finishing my breakfast. I'll be out." Ji-Hee said smiling.
"Take you time, I'll wait for you." Rick said closing the door.

Ji-Hee quickly stuffed the toast inside her mouth and walked out. She greeted again and thanked Rick for waiting for her. While they were walking together, Rick talked about the school and classmates. Ji-Hee was scared when Rick talked about school's gang members. But he didn't tell Ji-Hee that he is part of the gang. Rick warned her to watch out for the senior gang members especially the top one.

"What is his name?" Ji-Hee asked.
"Jean Lee. Without knowing his name, you should be able to recognize him. He has blonde short hair, has 2 piercings, on both ears. He always carry his knife in his pocket." Rick said.
"I see... He sounds scary." Ji-Hee said.

What an unfortunate surprise. The one she saw last night actually goes to her school, but thankfully in different grade. She was scared whether she is going to face him at school or not. She suddenly turned pale filled with worries about things. Rick got worried looking at Ji-Hee's pale white face filled with terror. He carefully put his hand on Ji-Hee's shoulder and looked at her face carefully. Her face was white as the snow in the moutain tops. Rick smiled and opened his mouth slowly.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you that much. Don't worry, no matter what happens, I'm here to protect you. I promise, I'll let nothing happen to you while at school." Rick said.
"I'm not scared, don't worry, I'm just nervous because it's my first day." Ji-Hee said smiling.
"I know I was nervous coming here too." Rick said.
"I see, so I'm not the only one. That makes me happy." Ji-Hee said.
"Hey!!! Rick, wait up!!!" A girl ran towards Rick.
"Oh hey, Lan. Lan this is our new classmate Ji-Hee. Ji-Hee this is Lan, your new desk buddy." Rick introduced them.
"I'm Lan Feng, nice to meet you." Lan said.
"I'm Ji-Hee Choi. Nice meeting you too." Ji-Hee said.
"Wow, you are so little, you skipped grade or something?" Lan asked.
"Ummm, yea, I'm actually 12 years old." Ji-Hee said.
"Dang!!! I don't like smart people. But anyways, I hope we become a good buddy." Lan said.
"Alright." Ji-Hee said.

The teacher introduced Ji-Hee to the class. The class members were surprised by Ji-Hee's tiny size. They are really surprised that they are going to have 12 year old girl as their new classmate. Ji-Hee was shy as well sitting down looking at everyone who were bigger than her. She was nervous facing that senior guy Rick mentioned. Classes went okay, since Ji-Hee knew everything it was piece of cake for her. The teachers were impressive with her fast learning skills without knowing that Ji-Hee is actually 18 years old inside. After first three classes, it was break time for the whole school. While Ji-Hee and Lan was talking, they heard someone yelling.

"Not again!!!!" Lan said.
"What is going on?" Ji-Hee asked.
"My older cousin. I hope Fay shows up." Lan said running towards the hall way.
"Fay?" Ji-Hee said following Lan.
"My older sister whom my older cousin obeys." Lan said looking at the corner of the hallway.
"That person is.. is.. is.." Ji-Hee started shaking.
"Jean Lee. School's toughest gangster and my lousy older cousin." Lan said.
"Your older cousin?" Ji-Hee was surprised.
"Yes yes, oh!! Fay!! Fay!!! Jean is causing trouble again." Lan said.
"I know Jean always does cause trouble. Here goes nothing." Fay said sighing deeply.
"Good luck stopping him this time." Lan said.
"Okay, Hey! Jean!!! Don't you think you are picking on little girls way too much? I mean When are you going to stop this whole thing." Fay said walking towards Jean.
"Pickin on? Does this look like pickin on? Gee, Fay, I think you should learn life and learn how to ignore others. Who cares?" Jean looked down at Fay all mad.
"Who cares? Well we all care and I personally think picking on weaker people isn't right. Also I think you should learn how to protect others instead of bothering others." Fay said bravely.
"Oh yeah? Fine then, I won't pick on little people at school, but you can't stop me outside of school." Jean laughed out loud while walking up to his classroom.
"That jerk!!! Gosh! I can't believe I'm even related to that animal!!!!" Lan said outloud.
"Lan calm down, I understand how you feel, but he is your cousin. Learn how to accept him." Fay said walking by.
"Alright sis, see you at home." Lan said.
"See you around." Fay said walking towards the stairs.

That was an interesting break for Ji-Hee because none of these beating up each other never happened where she used to live in the country side. But she also found it interesting that Jean actually looked like the type of guy she would fall for. It was weird that she sligtly blushed when she saw Jean's face. Lan couldn't understand why Ji-Hee was blusing all suddenly. The bell rang and the class started again. Ji-Hee looked out the window and thought about Jean and how good looking he was to her dark brown eyes. Even though others think he is scary, to Ji-Hee he was her perfect boyfriend. Ji-Hee shook her head and looked at Lan. Lan was puzzled about Ji-Hee's action after break. Ji-Hee's daydreaming face really confused Lan.

Don't tell me she is in love with Jean. Oh god!!! If she is, I have to make her stay away from him. She doesn't know how many girls he has hurt for so many years. I cannot accept this innocent Ji-Hee loving that animal. Arggg!!!!! Lan thought while in class.

During lunch time, Lan invited Ji-Hee to sit with her with the other girls. Lan introduced Ji-Hee to girls in other class. Ji-Hee was also introduced to each and every girl she never met before. It was the one of the most boring lunch for Lan because the girls were talking about Jean, and how they are thinking about asking him out. Lan felt like throwing up because she hated her cousin to death, but the other girls envied her having such a cool dude as a cousin. Lan was about to explode when the girls kept on chatting about the one she hated the most in the world. Lan was never happy after the lunch time. Ji-Hee was worried so she passed a note to her even though Lan was sitting next to her. Lan smiled and whispered into her ears that she was okay. Every monday, Ji-Hee had after school learning center till 7 PM. She was kinda scared walking home by herself after the class was totally over because it was dark at night without anyone near her house. She was afraid that Jean might appear and attack her.

The class was finally over for Ji-Hee and it was time for her to eat dinner. She walked quickly, but quitely so she won't get caught by someone. When she turned into the corner near some of the other apartments, she saw couple of highschool guys walking towards her. Ji-Hee was scared, but she knew the way out of it, so she just continue walking. One of the guy pulled his leg out to trip her over. When Ji-Hee fell flat on the ground, she looked up at the guys and realize that they aren't wearing the same uniform. She was scared because it was other school's gang members. They brought Ji-Hee all the way to the opposite corner and started kicking her. She didn't know what to do, so she bit her lips stopping herself from screaming or yelling. Because the impacts were too big, Ji-Hee end up fainting. The guy laughed as the little girl fainted in front of them dripping blood on her shirt. Luckily for her, Jean was walking by the same road looking at the cite. Jean was mad because it was his territory those guys entered and beat up his school's student. He stood behind them, pulled out his knife was started spinning it. The boys slowly turned around hearing the spinning noise of a pocket knife.

"Are you guys forgetting something?" Jean looked down at those guys.
"Uhh... we are sorry, we are new to this rule so heh.. heh... RUN!!!!" The boys run away as quickly as they could.
"What a bunch of shitty losers. That'll teach them some lesson." Jean put his knife back into his pocket and got ready to continue walking but paused and looked back. "Ahh!!! Disturbing, maybe I should bring her to my place and clean her up. That cite just disturbs me."

Jean put Ji-Hee on his back and continued walking to his home which was near the place.
