It was around 4 PM when Ji-Hee woke up again. When she looked around she saw Jean out of the room. When she walked towards the stair, she heard his voice from the living room with 2 other girl's voice. One of them was Lan and the other voice was her older sister, Fay. Ji-Hee slowly come downstairs and Lan stood up to greet her.

"Ji-Hee!!!! I'm so glad that you are alright. Thanks to my lousy cousin." Lan said.
"Lan, watch what you say." Fay said standing up to greet as well. "So you are Lan's new desk mate. I'm Fay, Lan's older sister. It's nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too, I'm Ji-Hee." Ji-Hee said sitting next to Lan.
"You guys can go to my room, Fay and I have something to talk about." Jean said to both Lan and Ji-Hee.
"Alright, let's go Ji-Hee." Lan pulled Ji-Hee's arm and went upstairs.
"Lan, what did we do at school?" Ji-Hee asked when they arrived in his room.
"So many boring things. Hey? Isn't that Jean's shirt?" Lan asked.
"Yeah. It's so big." Ji-Hee jumped around.
"Heh, of course. He is a giant compare to you." Lan said laughing.
"Hey! I'm not that short!!!" Ji-Hee said sitting on his bed.
"No, I'm just saying that Jean is huge. I mean look at his bed. I think Fay, you and myself can all sleep on his bed." Lan said.
"Oh I see. I mean he is a senior." Ji-Hee said. "He is also strong. Strong guys are normally tall."
"Yeah true. I don't like watching him shirtless, so gross!!! How come guys love having those things on their stomach?" Lan stuck her tongue out.
"Six packs you mean? I don't know, it looks cool to me though." Ji-Hee said giggling.
"You kidding? A little girl like you like those things?" Lan was surprised.
"Hehe.. I'm not little by the way..." Ji-Hee sighed.

Ji-Hee explained the same exact thing to Lan. Lan couldn't believe that the country's number one biology genius is actually sitting right next to her, but not as old as she used to be. Lan smiled at Ji-Hee and pet her head for sec. Lan really wanted to meet Ji-Hee so she could ask her strategy in studies. Ji-Hee was very happy that her new deskmate was actually her biggest fan.

"No wonder, you are genius, but perverted also right?" Lan asked.
"Why am I perverted?" Ji-Hee asked. "There are lot of girls who are worse than me."
"Really? Like what they do?" Lan asked.
"It's good that we not talk about it." Ji-Hee said winking.
"Talk about what?" Jean entered. "By the way, Fay left for her job."
"I see, so am I staying here? She has the key to the house." Lan said grumply.
"I guess so. I mean, Ji-Hee has to copy today's notes and stuff." Jean said sitting in front of his desk.
"Oh yeah! I copied my notes from teacher's office so you won't have to copy it by hand." Lan said taking her binder out.
"Thanks a lot. Wow, so many notes." Ji-Hee said.
"Yeah, anyways, Jean! The other highschool boys came today looking for you." Lan said.
"What happened?" Jean answered.
"Nothing except they were looking for you." Lan said. "They were pretty weak looking guys though. I mean compare to you, they were sticks."
"Haha, thanks a lot. If they are stick, I would be..." Jean paused.
"Cactus." Ji-Hee said.
"Yeah, Cactus. Those tall ones in the desert." Lan said. "Wow, it's so rare to see you studying that hard. Really? I thought you never studied."
"You are so mean at times Lan, but I do everything I have to do." Jean said putting his studying glasses on.
"Now you wear glasses too???" Lan said surprisingly.
"I only wore them at home." Jean said. "I look darn weird on these glasses."
"I see. This is my first time exploring you in your apartment." Lan said. "You act so differently."
"Yeah I know. I act different cause nobody is home telling me to do this or do that." Jean turned on his desk lamp.
"Anyways, hey Jean. Can I unfold this table? I have to do my homework as well." Lan asked kindly.
"Go ahead. Hey! Why are you still awake? Go to sleep." Jean said putting his hands softly on Ji-Hee's eyes.
"I can't see... I can't see.." Ji-Hee said putting her hand on Jean's hand.

As Ji-Hee watched Lan and Jean doing their work, she slowly closed her eyes. She drifted to her dreams while a sleep. Inside her dream, she was back to normal going to school of Biology with her old friends. Ji-Hee was happy that she is back to the peaceful
town where she grew up. Her friends greeted her as she walked by them and obviously her mother greeted her when she returned from her school. Suddenly, she started missing mom because everything Jean did to care for her today reminded me of her
mother. While sleeping, Ji-Hee started crying. Not loud crying, but silently she dropped her tears on the blanket one by one.

Fay arrived at Jean's house around 8:00 PM to pick up Lan. Lan thanked Jean for saving Ji-Hee and taking care of her. Fay thanked him for taking care of Lan while she was off to work. Jean watched as Fay and Lan took off for their house and waved
them good bye. When he went upstairs to wake up Ji-Hee, he felt tear drops on the blanket. He woke her and saw her eyes red like the blooming roses in the garden. He ask her to come downstairs to eat dinner and talk about some things. He was concerned a little bit about Ji-Hee because she looked really sad. He grabbed the phone and ordered Pizza since he didn't feel like cooking. While waiting, he sat next to Ji-Hee and looked at her.

"What's wrong with ya crying all suddenly?" Jean asked.
"No..nothing..it's just I had a bad dream. Little kids have nightmares." Ji-Hee said smiling.
"Nightmares huh? They make girls cry?" Jean wondered.
"Of course they do! Like when creepy monsters came out, also when you see your parents dying." Ji-Hee said.
"Oh. I normally don't remember my dreams." Jean said. "Why you had dream about your mom dying?"
"No, just well... I saw my mom and I miss her." Ji-Hee said.
"You miss your mom already? I haven't seen my mom for 3 years." Jean said.
"I see. Oh! I think the pizza is here." Ji-Hee said.
"You are right. Let me get the money." Jean went upstairs.

Jean came down with money in his hand. He handed it to the pizza delivery man and closed the door with the box on his hand. He put the box on the table and pulled out 2 plates for the pizza. He grabbed one slice and put it on Ji-Hee's plate. He then grabbed
the next slice and put it on his. It's been a while since Ji-Hee had pizza for dinner. She normally ate pizza for lunch at her school. She waited until Jean started eating because that was her habit eating with other people. When Jean stared at her not eating, he felt
puzzled.

"Why aren't you eating it? Never had pizza before?" Jean asked in confusion.
"No, it's my habit. Waiting for other people to start eating." Ji-Hee said.
"I see. There, now you can start eating." Jean took his pizza and bite it once.
"Okay." Ji-Hee took the bite of the pizza as well.
"So uhh, how are you feeling? Better than in the morning huh?" Jean asked.
"Yeah! I feel much better!!!" Ji-Hee said. "Thank you so much for everything."
"No problem. I was lucky enough to walk by you." Jean said. "If it weren't me, you would be somewhere else."
"Like heaven?" Ji-Hee asked.
"No silly, like someone else's house or in the emergency room." Jean said. "You like thinking about death do you?"
"No." Ji-Hee replied. "Just... that word popped into my head."
"I see, well eat! You need food to become better." Jean said putting another slice on
Ji-Hee's plate.

Ji-Hee barely ate the second slice that Jean put it on her plate. She was never close to a boy her age before so watching him eating was more interesting than anything. Jean found it strange that Ji-Hee was observing him eating. He laughed when he saw Ji-Hee's
face filled with curiosity. It was hard for him to understand why she is so interested in him eating dinner. Just like Ji-Hee imagined, Jean ate the all the rest of the pizza all by himself. Ji-Hee was more than amused how much guys eat these days. Jean ate about
8 slices of pizza while she barely finished 2. By looking at Ji-Hee's amused face, Jean walked to the trash can with the empty box of pizza.

"What's so surprising about?" Jean asked Ji-Hee.
"Just amused that you finished all the rest." Ji-Hee said looking at him.
"Of course I can finish all this. Heh, you won't imagine how much I eat at parties." Jean smiled.
"At my friend's party, most of the guys ate more than one box." Jean said. "You know guys these days eat quiet a lot. More than you think."
"I see. Is that why they are so giant? I mean compare to you I am..." Ji-Hee paused as Jean came close to her.
"You are 12 years old and I'm 18 years old. Well even though you are older than me inside, your body is still 6 years younger than mine. It is obvious that you are shorter than me. Besides, you know what? I like short and small girls because they are... you know small." Jean said touching Ji-Hee's hair.
"I see..." Ji-Hee slightly blushed.
"Yeah, I was laughing when I saw you walking around wearing my shirt. It's big for you huh?" Jean asked.
"Yeah, it's huge." Ji-Hee said.
"Anyways, I better go up and do my thing. Wanna help me?" Jean asked.
"Well if I could sure..." Ji-Hee smiled and followed him upstairs.

Jean's project was about Biology after all. Ji-Hee looked at his topic and smiled. It was about Protists, one of the very first organism that merged into Planet Earth. Ji-Hee saw those organisms under a microscope once. She found them really fascinating because they were the origins of all the living beings on Earth including humans. Since Jean had hardtime drawing one protist, Ji-Hee decided to help him draw one from his biology book. Ji-Hee loved drawing even though she wasn't good at it. She loves it more than reading books. She once wanted to become artist herself to draw out her expressions on a paper as an image to show people how she feels about things. Obviously she find it hard to draw pictures of her feelings on a piece of paper as an image. It was a hard challenge for her because she was having trouble expressing feelings to other people also sometimes she cannot even figure her own feelings out. When she was done drawing the protist, Jean started changing his clothes.

"Are you going out somewhere?" Ji-Hee asked.
"I'm afraid so. The other school gang boss was looking for me." Jean said putting his pocket knife in his pocket.
"Be careful." Ji-Hee said.
"I'll be alright. Go to sleep. I'll be back around midnight alright?" Jean said pushing Ji-Hee towards his bed.
"Are you sure?" Ji-Hee asked.
"Ya! I'm sure of it. I'll turn off the light okay. Good Night, I hope you don't have nightmares." Jean smiled and turned off the light.

After Jean went out, Ji-Hee got worried about him all suddenly. It was weird that she felt such feelings. But she had faith in him that he will be okay no matter what. She put blankets on her and slowly closed her eyes and think about many things before falling into deep sleep. When Jean arrived that the meeting place, he not only saw the boss guy, but his other 10 members. Jean growled because he had been tricked. While the fight was about to begin, some stranger walked and stood next to Jean. Jean looked at him and smirked. The furious fight began after Ji-Hee went into her dream land.
